B-CORP CERTIFICATION

We are immensely proud to be certified as a B-Corporation, one of the most respected sustainability certifications that holds us accountable to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and ethics. These are values that align with how we approach art and the communities we work with. Every project we take on is not only about curating inspiring art collections, but also about fostering cultural enrichment, reducing our environmental footprint, supporting artists and charities, and making responsible business choices that create a positive impact far beyond the walls where art is hung.

More than ever, the world needs companies committed to achieving sustainable and inclusive growth and we will always strive to keep learning and improving. Please read our B-Corp sustainability report below.

VALUES & ETHOS

  • We’ve only just become B-Corp, so we’re still getting everything fully in place – thank you for bearing with us

  • It is our prerogative to champion the work of artists and their creative potential through client introductions, social media channels and our online art gallery, C&B Curates. A particular focus of ours is to provide a platform, alongside the necessary support and advice, for young and emerging artists

  • As members of 1% For The Planet, we are committed to donating at least 1% of our annual turnover each year to non-profit environmental charities. Our impact on the environment sits at the core of our business, including ensuring our framers use only FSC-certified wood and investing in specialist art bags that can be reused time and time again for the transport of art. All our business activities are considered to minimise our carbon footprint

  • We foster an inclusive workplace and are proud members of United in Design, a charity founded to deliver an equal opportunity pathway for entry into the Interior Design industry for people from black, Asian, ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds

  • We donate framed artworks to several charities including The Childhood Trust (a scheme that redecorates disadvantaged children's bedrooms and youth centres) as well as Furnishing Futures, a charity that creates healing homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse. We are also long-term supporters of Syrian charity, Action Syria, with regular donations as well as organising art auctions that, to date, have raised over £180k
